Birthday Party on a Budget

Having a hard time planning your kids party with a limited budget?

Mommies/Daddies, check our tips in creating a fun and exciting birthday party celebration without stressing your wallet:

Stretch your Planning

As early as possible, start hunting supplies early, so it will give you time to compare prices from different shops. Plus, you’ll save yourself from running out at the last minute to buy overpriced things you’ve forgotten.

Embrace No-Cost Activities

Instead of hiring entertainment, why not do-it-yourselves? Just prepare some fun, creative activities that your little one and his/her kiddie guests will enjoy.

Double Up

If your kid’s birthday falls close to a buddy’s, why not go for a double birthday party? You and the other child’s parents can split the cost and responsibilities. Just make sure each tsikiting gets his/her own cake 🙂

Utilize your Library

Don't forget to use your things at home. You can have an interactive story telling time with your kids books or cartoon showing from your kids dvds that matches your kiddie party’s theme.

Timing is Everything

Consider planning your kids party from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m, says Danielle Walker, author of Against All Grain: Celebrations. Because after lunch and before dinner is the best time to party, when guests don't expect a full meal.

Go Digital

Doing an online invitation will help you reach out more of your friends and you’ll save what you’d normally spend on paper invites.

Happy party planning!
