Talk To Your Kid Calmly

Sit down with your kid and talk to him in a calm but firm tone. This is to show that you care about him but also serious about this matter. Ask your kid what’s happening in school and why he’s behaving that way. You need to know the whole picture. After hearing his story, explain what his mistakes are.

Spend Time with Them

There are two common reasons why a kid became a bully. First, they experience deprivation, whether it’s love or guidance from their parents. Second, they are spoiled, so they feel entitled to everything they want. Regardless of the reason, you need to spend time with your child.

If he’s spoiled, teach him that not everything belongs to him. If your child became a bully because of deprivation, put extra effort and bond with him. Show that he have your attention and love.

Don’t Be Too Defensive

Don’t support your child’s action. Never pick his side, especially if he's wrong as this will only make things worse. What you need to do is show that you’re disappointed and you want him to change for the better.

We hope that these tips help you and your kid, mommies!
